Born and raised in France, Philippe Lefeuvre attended the Classical School Conservatory in Paris and then later graduated from the American School of Modern Music.
Philippe's French/African bi racial heritage has always been the propelling force behind his musical quest, for a sound that represents both his European classical training and African cultural legacy. As a bi racial child growing up in Paris, perhaps the most renowned for African Music and European Art, Philippe Lefeuvre was inspired by the French architecture, the likes of Chateau Versailles, Jazz (Miles Davies) and great cultural African Artists such as Thione Seck.

This dual heritage and passion for Music and Art eventually led Philippe to London, where he secured a recording studio to further develop via his work, a unique sound that was an artistic expression and interpretation of this Afro European link and mirrored his own personal pursuit and development, of an Afro-European identity, a tribute via his music, to his African roots and European experience.
Recording and producing hip hop, RnB, Jungle, House and Pop tracks, he developed new beats inspired by Fela (Afro Beat) Nigeria and Doudou N' Daye (Master of Sabar) Senegal. This set the ball rolling in terms of perfecting a new sound identity and Philippe has never looked back since.
By continually embracing and exploring the cultural dynamics of being bi racial through Music ( 15 ) years, his influences now stem from 16th Century European classical composition, urban mainstream pop to African traditional music: Sabar, Mbalax.

And thus this new cutting edge and innovative musical genre is the trademark by which one instantly recognizes Philippe Lefeuvre's music. A brand sought by clients when employed in his capacity as a : Composer for films, Music Producer for singer songwriters, Musical logos for TV, Radio Corporate companies, Artistic/Music Director for theatrical musicals or Session Bass Player for bands.
